Everland Mysteries
Everland is an island in the Sea of Dreams, a magical realm that can be reached only through fairie-flight and the power of compasses forged from fallen stars. Long ago, it was a land of dream-like magic, inhabited by talking animals, mermaids, magical creatures and the children who found their way to the island through their dreams.
Then came the Darlings. In the 1920s, ships from a joint American-British expedition brought corporate interests and colonial greed to Everland’s shores, forging treaties with the inhabitants to make war on the island’s mysterious ruler. The magic of Everland faded, its dreams unable to stand the light of day, but it isn’t completely gone, and the inhabitants have learned to live alongside living shadows, ghosts, and the dreamlike magic of the place.
Everland is not the innocent land that it once was, but it’s just as dangerous as the days when pirates and Lost Boys battled across it. It can be a beautiful and wondrous place, but only if you are careful…
